Officers of the Houston Alumni Chapter


“A” – Christopher Gray, LSU ‘93


Christopher Gray joined the LSU chapter of Delta Chi as a sophomore in the spring of 1990.  He started a computer consulting business while in school during the spring of 1992.  He graduated from LSU in August 1993 with a bachelor of arts.

After graduation, Christopher returned to his hometown of Lake Charles and Gray Computer Solutions became a full time venture specializing in local area networks (LAN).  In 1995, he opened CADMAP Solutions to also enter the computer aided design (CAD) and geographic information systems (GIS).

In 1998 Christopher joined Merrill Lynch in New York, NY as a system administrator becoming an assistant vice president in 1999.  In 2001 He became a vice president. In 2006 Christopher relocated to Houston and joined The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center as the manager of server engineering.  He has three teams supporting 4,000 servers running Windows, Linux, Vmware, and UNIX.

Christopher graduated in May 2015 from The University of Texas at Dallas with a MBA. Christopher has three children; Judson who is 18, Jackson who is 16, and Callie who is 13. Christopher is an active volunteer with the Boy Scouts.  He has served as a Cub Scout Den Leader and Unit Commissioner.  He is currently an Assistant Scoutmaster and Assistant District Commissioner.

“B” – Vance Keslar, California Univ-PA ‘95


Vance Keslar CALUPA ’96 joined the bond of Delta Chi January 1993. His term as an associate member was completed in the fall semester of 1992.  As an undergraduate he held the following offices Rush Chair, F, AMC, and A (the fall of 1995).  After completing his undergraduate degree at CALUPA he was installed as BB holding that position in conjunction with also being named interim BB at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.  As well as serving as BB, Vance was also ABT President and Housing Corporation President from 1997 to 2000 for the CALUPA chapter.  Vance also serve as a Vice Regent for both Region 9 and Region 6.  Vance and his wife Cinnamon reside in Cypress, TX along with their son Finn.


“C” – Joe Aubuchon, Kansas City ‘96


Joe Aubuchon joined the Kansas City chapter of Delta Chi as a freshman in the fall of 1994.  As a sophomore he was elected chapter president, the youngest in the chapter’s history.  He helped bring the chapter membership to its highest in over a decade.  In the summer of 1996 he moved to St. Louis to start a family, and in 1999 he transferred to Washington University in St. Louis to complete a degree in Chemical Engineering.

After graduating, Joe began working for Monsanto as a Pilot Plant Engineer in the RoundUp product series.  He moved to Houston in 2006, taking a role as a Process Engineer for Jacobs Engineering and in 2009 began working for Burns & McDonnell Engineering where he is currently a Senior Process Engineer.

Joe has 4 daughters; Mckenzie (18) is a freshman as Texas Tech University, Madelyn and Kaylin (11) are 6th graders, and Ellie who will be 2 in November.

Joe is an avid movie buff and an advanced scuba diver with over 300 logged dives around the world including Saipan, Guam, Hawaii, Belize, Curacao, and Cozumel.


“D” – Bruce Adams, LSU ‘07


Born and raised in South Louisiana his whole life, Bruce Adams enrolled at Louisiana State University in the fall of 2001, majoring in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry. Bruce joined LSU Delta Chi in the fall of 2002, and he was active in the chapter’s reorganization in 2004. Bruce graduated with a B.S. Chemistry in 2006 and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering in 2007.

He has a chemistry & chemical engineering background and has worked as a chemical engineer in the oil and gas industry with Nalco Champion from day one.  He has held technical and support positions including time as a Deepwater Engineer. Bruce’s current role is as a regional technical supervisor in the Gulf Coast region, managing five engineers.

Bruce enjoys the outdoors including golf, hunting, and NCAA sports. He is active at his alma mater of Louisiana State University and is a member of the Dean’s Circle for the College of Sciences and the Tiger Athletic Foundation. He is also a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.

Bruce is married to Alicia Adams and has a 1 year old baby girl, Madeline.


“E” – Rich Witmer, Texas Tech ‘91


Rich Witmer joined the Texas Tech University chapter, graduating in 1991. While active he was an elected offer and served as the “E” for one year. He has leadership experience serving on boards including a home-owner association (which he does not recommended to anyone) and well as non-profits and professional associations. Most recently Rich served on the board of the local chapter of the American Marketing Association, where he helped with professional development of recent graduates. Currently, Rich is the Director of Global Marketing at Intergraph Process, Power & Marine, the leading engineering software company focused on the global oil & gas and petrochemical markets. He plans to use his professional marketing experience to build awareness of the Chapter and communicate with its growing alumni base.

Rich met his wife at Texas Tech through a fraternity/sorority event and remains in touch with many pledge brothers. Rich has three children, two teenage daughters (a freshman at Texas Tech, a junior at Cy-Fair High School) and a son in 7th grade. He enjoys cheering his kids on as they compete in sports, and follows local sports and college football. As a native Houstonian, Rich’s desire is to help get this Alumni Chapter established once and for all.
