Officers of the Houston Alumni Chapter
1/23/2018: Welcome new officers of the Houston Delta Chi Alumni Chapter!
“A” – Rich Witmer, Texas Tech ‘91
Rich Witmer was a member of the Texas Tech University chapter, graduating in 1991. While active he served as the “E” winning the Delta Chi “E” Key Award. He has leadership experience serving on boards including a homeowner association (which he does not recommended to anyone) and well as non-profits and professional associations. Rich is a a business marketing executive and has worked with large enterprises and small startups. He plans to use his professional marketing experience to build awareness of the Chapter and communicate with its growing alumni base.
Rich met his wife at Texas Tech through a fraternity/sorority event and has three children. As a native Houstonian, Rich’s desire is to help get this Houston Alumni Chapter established once and for all.
“B” – Mark Hale, Cincinnati ’11

“C” – Vance Keslar, California Univ-PA ‘95
Vance Keslar CALUPA ’96 joined the bond of Delta Chi January 1993. His term as an associate member was completed in the fall semester of 1992. As an undergraduate he held the following offices Rush Chair, F, AMC, and A (the fall of 1995). After completing his undergraduate degree at CALUPA he was installed as BB holding that position in conjunction with also being named interim BB at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. As well as serving as BB, Vance was also ABT President and Housing Corporation President from 1997 to 2000 for the CALUPA chapter. Vance also serve as a Vice Regent for both Region 9 and Region 6. Vance and his wife Cinnamon reside in Cypress, TX along with their son Finn.
“D” – Christopher Gray, LSU ‘93
Christopher Gray joined the LSU chapter of Delta Chi as a sophomore in the spring of 1990. He started a computer consulting business while in school during the spring of 1992. He graduated from LSU in August 1993 with a bachelor of arts.
After graduation, Christopher returned to his hometown of Lake Charles and Gray Computer Solutions became a full time venture specializing in local area networks (LAN). In 1995, he opened CADMAP Solutions to also enter the computer aided design (CAD) and geographic information systems (GIS).
In 1998 Christopher joined Merrill Lynch in New York, NY as a system administrator becoming an assistant vice president in 1999. In 2001 He became a vice president. In 2006 Christopher relocated to Houston and joined The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center as the manager of server engineering. He has three teams supporting 4,000 servers running Windows, Linux, Vmware, and UNIX.
Christopher graduated in May 2015 from The University of Texas at Dallas with a MBA. Christopher has three children; Judson who is 18, Jackson who is 16, and Callie who is 13. Christopher is an active volunteer with the Boy Scouts. He has served as a Cub Scout Den Leader and Unit Commissioner. He is currently an Assistant Scoutmaster and Assistant District Commissioner.
